Yesterday, I went to the mall to get a present for my niece as her birthday is on Friday... and me being me I had to at least look around and see if there was anything just out-of-this-world cute and fabulous... sure enough I did. I saw this to-die-for cute skirt and a lovely shirt to go with it. Now, normally I have a slight fear of wearing skirts to school. Don't ask why-- 'cause I don't even know... I'm just awesome like that. Anyway, because this skirt was just so cute (at least in my opinion) I decided to at least try it on. So I tried on the skirt and the shirt and instantly fell in love with it. The skirt is pink (my favorite color) frilly, lace-y (which is perfect because I absolutely adore lace), and it has an adorable black belt with a bow (I also love bows) (fyi- there are pictures below.) The shirt is a basic black shirt that says 'LOVE' (also in the pictures below.) And because the skirt is relativity short, and the weather is getting chilly, it is great to pair with simple black tights (thank you, Mommy, for letting me borrow them.) And also, because it is fall and jean jackets are just fabulous to wear with everything, this outfit is perfect to wear with a jean jacket... something I just happen to have. For shoes, just a pair of black boots (also, thanks to Mommy for letting me wear them) will be divine. < I use fancy words... not really... but... anyway. Oh- and hats- hats-hats- hats. Hats should be one of a girl's best friends. In this outfit, I wear a black hat with a floral ribbon around it (once again... in the picture below.) So basically this outfit consists of: a light-colored skirt, a dark-colored shirt, tights (preferably black), a jean jacket, black boots, and a black hat. Btw- I got the skirt and the shirt at the awesome store Wet Seal... it is a weird name... but they have cute clothes. :] And I would just like to point something out: I know some people wonder why people are so interested in clothes and in what they wear. Well here is my theory: It is a way to express oneself and... it makes them feel confident... and pretty. I believe everyone should feel pretty/handsome, and wearing your sense of style is a great way to be expressive and feel confident. "We all need to have a healthy self- esteem" ~My English Teacher. Although, you should know, who you are on the inside is more important than your outward appearance. That sounded cheesy but it works.

On most posts I am going to give some pieces of scripture that somewhat relates to what I wrote about on each post.
So this post's scriptures are:
- "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." (Genesis 1:27) Wow, that's awesome- we are created in God's image! One reason we should feel confident.
- "I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." (Psalm 139:14)
Now, I love clothes, but let's remember to keep God #1 in our lives... even in front of cute clothes. Haha:) ❤
